UPDATE: Fire at oil depot in Khanty-Mansi district localized at 800 sqm

MOSCOW, Oct 30 (PRIME) -- A fire at Russian oil major Rosneft’s oil depot in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District has been localized on the area of 800 square meters, a spokesperson for the Emergency Ministry told PRIME on Tuesday.
“The fire has been localized on the area of 800 square meters,” the spokesperson said.
The oil depot caught fire earlier on Tuesday injuring three people. The fire area was earlier reported at around 1,000 square meters.
An official of Nizhnevartovsk Oil and Gas Producing Company, affiliate of Rosneft, said that the depot was part of its Khokhryakovskoye deposit and that the depressurization occurred during scheduled maintenance works by a contractor.
